What is faith?
Hebrews 11:1-3
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
From the air that we breathe to the God that we serve.
Faith in the unseen is what powers this world.
The currency of this world alone takes faith to keep its powers.
It is a bridge from the immaterial world to the material world.
In a sense, the substance that is faith is the most powerful substance in this world. It powers mankind’s imagination to see beyond the current.
To go to uncharted places. To discover new medicines, inventions, and new destinations. The invisible is what powers everything.
It is no wonder God hates idolatry. Idolizing the material and the flesh leads us away from him, from the ability to perceive him.
For God moves in the realm of the spirit.
It is through faith and faith alone that we start to form our pathway to the Creator.
Through faith we create things, we find purpose, we can utilize the substance that is faith to not only survive but thrive in this world.
From the air we breathe to the gravity that keeps us grounded.
The substance of the unseen is what truly fuels us.
Our imagination is the bridge from the immaterial to the material.
Yes, we have eyes to see but at times it blinds us from the ways of the spirit.
It is by faith and faith alone that we can perceive him.
Sense him in all his creation.
"For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you." (Matthew 17:20-21).
I don't believe this passage means he wants us to have the faith of a mustard seed. I believe it is a passage that highlights the true power of faith.
It is by the currency which is faith and faith alone that we can bring forth true riches from the spirit, our inheritance from Our Father.
Love, hope, faith, and time. The things that are invisible are the very things that move us, that move this world.
So I wonder, do you have the faith to truly see?
